Pooja Kothari

Cis, queer, first-generation Indian-American woman of color, and mother of two Black and Brown cis-girls.

Pooja Kothari is a trailblazer in cultural competency, training and guiding organizations toward profound cultural transformation. As the founder of Boundless Awareness, a certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business in New York City and New York State, she brings lived experience, legal expertise, and empathy to the work.

Before founding Boundless Awareness, Pooja spent seven years as a public defender at The Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Practice, advocating through arraignments, bail applications, investigations, plea negotiations, hearings, and trials.

Her workshops sit at the intersections of race, disability, sexuality, gender, socio-economic status, and more. Each engagement is custom-built to address the unique concerns, experiences, and awareness levels of the organization in the room.

Boundless Awareness equips organizations with tools for open, respectful dialogue and decisions rooted in equity and belonging.
